wow. I am...not satisfied with this :\
it looks good to me, but something about it bothers me -- a lot of things, actually, i think............. mostly coloring-related...
but i sorta tried new things with this, sooo I guess that's to be expected. totally bsed the background, it looks kind of eh because I had no idea what i was doing, LOL. it's kind of really messy/chaotic too, and not in a way that I really wanted it to be.
FORESHORTENING IS HELL, AND BARE FEET ARE HELL TOO, Y DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF LOL.
anyway...
song is Orbit! a friend showed this song to me and it is the best thing ever so i was like. hell yeah.
can you imagine my character singing the vocals in this? because that's what I've been imagining hehe..
REF OF THE CHARACTER that I made..for...well...ref.
yea.................
edit: ohh yeah, i totally forgot to add design notes
if you look closely at the character's pupil in the ref, you might be able to see... circling arrows? because "orbit."
alsooo, the character is not human, but a robot, this is actually --I didn't come up with that because the song is like some electronic kinda thing, but because of the lyrics "A brave adventurer like me remembers everywhere that I've come from" -- the first thing I thought when thinking over these lyrics, my way of interpreting...this sort of implied idea of "coming from" more than one place -- if you would interpret "everywhere that I've come from" as "all my various birthplaces" -- was that the character is a robot whose individual parts come from many different places (maybe even many different galaxies since this is a space thing) ...yeah!
"Follow the trail of the star dust" is a line in the song as well, and so my original concept for the actual submission was that I'd have my character walking on a literal trail of stardust in outer space. what I ended up doing is sort of similar, because all the sparkly stuff is supposed to be stardust. I can't draw a lot of stars without it looking really messy though maybe i'll figure that out eventually.
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeahhhhhhhhhhh

Ha ha, this is now one of my favorite songs ^^
You did a really good job on the character's pose! Whoa!
The character looks really cute, especially the hood with it's "bunny ears"
The lighting is done well too! (heh heh... i can't do that)
The background looks really nice, but all the stars distract a little from the main character
Maybe instead of having most of the stars white, try having more slightly different colored stars, or stars with different opacities/effects and only a few bigger white stars
